The congregation at St Margaret's have been delighted to welcome Father Michel Belt to the parish over the past few days. Father Michel is rector at our sister parish of St James, in New London, Connecticut and has attended several services here including Corpus Christi.

Father Emsley has been installed as Dean of Aberdeen and Orkney at St. Andrew's Cathedral. Father becomes the first Rector of St Margarets to be appointed to the position of Dean.

The Parish Annual General Meeting will take place on Sunday 9th December 2007 after a shortened 10.30am mass. The minutes from the previous AGM along with copies of the accounts are now available.

This year's Festival took place on Saturday 4th August.

St. Margaret's today handed over a cheque for £454 to Louise Beattie of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund. JDRF were this years selected charity and the donation will help in efforts to find a cure for diabetes, an increasingly common disease in this country.
